Woman Live Freedom

2023

This project was created as a TV sting inspired by the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran. The goal was to highlight the voices of Iranian people inside the country — especially women and young protesters — through the visual language of street graffiti, one of the few tools citizens can safely use to express resistance under a repressive regime.

Design and Concept Development
I focused on the graffiti that appeared across Iranian cities during the protests. These markings on walls — short messages, symbols, and slogans — became a powerful form of communication, representing courage, grief, hope, and defiance.
The sting uses these real visual themes to create a fast, emotional, and impactful sequence. Rather than showing literal footage, I built a stylized interpretation of the graffiti aesthetic to protect identities while still conveying the raw energy of the movement.

Key Creative Elements
• Graffiti‑inspired textures, typography, and wall surfaces
• Fast, expressive motion to reflect urgency and resistance
• A dark, gritty visual tone contrasted with bold protest colors
• Symbolic transitions that echo the spirit of Woman, Life, Freedom

Production Process
• Designed the graffiti‑style visuals in Adobe Photoshop
• Animated and composited the sting in Adobe After Effects
• Built the pacing around the emotional rhythm of protest art
• Integrated real stylistic elements seen on Iranian walls during the movement
This project is a tribute to the bravery of Iranian citizens who used art — even in its simplest form, a spray‑painted message on a wall — to make their voices heard.
