Childhood Inspiration: From an early age, I was immersed in a vibrant community of art and media professionals, thanks to my family’s background in these fields. Spending countless hours in my father’s painting studio, I developed a deep appreciation for the digital world and its immense potential for artistic expression.
Early Exposure: At the tender age of 10, I began frequenting my father’s design and advertising company. It was there that I had my first encounter with the captivating realm of media and design. Inspired by influential graphic designers like Stefan Sagmeister, David Carson, Holger Matthies, and Morteza Momayez, I played a pivotal role in leading the company’s transition from traditional methods to digital designing through the introduction of desktop publishing and graphic art software applications.
Professional Growth: Following my high school graduation, I embarked on a journey to expand my knowledge and skills within the field. Joining VADI, I had the opportunity to refine my expertise while honing my communication and social skills through collaboration with diverse groups of individuals. Concurrently, I pursued my passion for music by pursuing professional studies at the prestigious Iranian Conservatory.
Broadened Experience: Relocating to the United Kingdom, I ventured into the world of television as a graphic designer and editor at two TV stations while actively pursuing freelance projects. One of the highlights of my career was the privilege of working alongside the esteemed producer and director, Mohsen Makhmalbaf. I contributed to his stories and films by composing music and designing a poster for one of his movies, an experience that enriched my understanding of the different phases involved in a design project.
Academic Pursuits: Acknowledging the significance of formal education, I completed an Access to Media course at South Thames College, which provided a strong foundation for my skills. This laid the groundwork for me to secure offers from several universities to pursue a degree in motion graphic design. I ultimately chose Ravensbourne University, where I entered the program in the second year.
Recent Ventures: Since graduating, I have embarked on an exhilarating project as a TV producer, creating a show that showcases the next generation of Iranian musicians and their contributions to underground music. Currently, I am proudly serving as a creative designer and music composer at Iran and Afghanistan International TV.
